Shows we plan to attend!
March 24 and 25, 2007 - The Great train Expo will be held at the Shriner's Auditorium, 99 Fordham Road in Wilmington Massachusetts. Show hours are 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM both days. Ten operating layouts representing everything from Tinplate "O" gauge to Scale H.O., and N gauge. You will find a Lego layout too. Over 200 tables loaded with Toys, Trains and even some Dolls and Doll House items.
April 15, 2007 - The Marklin Enthusiasts of America will hold their show at the Best Western Lehigh Valley Hotel and Conference Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The show only runs from 9:00 to 2:00, but it is my personal favorite. Very small (only about 100 tables), but it is 95% Marklin, and 100% fun. I always find an item or two for my collection, and its an opportunity to spend a few pleasant hours with people who share the same hobby interest. If you need additional information please contact Steve Seyer his email address is scsbahn@msn.com
April 19 and 21, 2007 - The Train Collector's Association will be back in York, Pennsylvania for their semi annual extravaganza. Held at the York Fairgrounds. A visit to this show is like a trip to a gigantic toy train museum. The only differences are that here the items are for sale, and even if you are not buying you can still touch them. The show is 90% Lionel, American Flyer and Ives, but you will also find trains by almost every other manufacturer in the world. Membership in the TCA required for attendance, contact me by email if you would like information.
Jan. 26 and 27, 2008 - Amherst Railway Society Show. Held at the Eastern States Exposition Center in West Springfield, Massachusetts. Hours 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Some European model trains at this show, (LGB, Marklin, Roco and others), plenty of U.S. prototype too, (scale brass, Lionel, and every other manufacturer known). Layouts in N, H.O. (Marklin H.O. modular layout too!), O and I gauge, exceptional dioramas, live steam displays. This show is always the biggest and the best railroad show we attend. Come see why the over 20,000 railfans who were there for the show in 2007 will be back in 2008.
